Bare or tin-plated, on a spool or cut to length, single wire or stranded.
Finish
| Finish | Used where |
|---|---|
| Bare | Default; the copper surface is the conductor |
| Tin-plated | Where a solderable or low-tarnish surface is needed |
Packing
| Packing | Used for |
|---|---|
| Spool | Continuous length for a strander or a pay-off |
| Cut length | Straightened and cut to the run length |
| Coil | Bulk, for cutting at the customer’s end |
Marking
- Batch number on the tag
- Grade (% IACS) and measured diameter
- Measured conductivity for the lot
- Net weight and length
