What we have actually shipped

A grade and a size on a page proves nothing. The useful question is whether this plant has made that exact combination and what document it carried. This is the record.

How a first order runs

Four stages, each with something the buyer can check.

1

Enquiry and quotation

You send grade, form, size, standard, quantity, date. Price and lead time come back within one working day.

2

Sample

A short length for your own trial, where the order warrants it.

3

Production

Melt, draw, anneal, test against the stated standard.

4

Certificate

Heat number and measured values travel with the spool.

What to compare when you shortlist a supplier

Four questions that separate a plant from a trader.

Can both legs come from one melt?If not, the pair is matched after the fact and the certificate will not say so.
Is the diameter measured or declared?Measured means a number recorded against your spool, at 0.001 mm resolution.
Is the certificate 3.1 or 3.2?3.2 needs a third party booked before packing; ask at enquiry, not after.
Can a record be retrieved later?Ask for a batch number and have them read the result back to you.
