What the plant can actually do

Four things a buyer checks before a first order: can the wire be drawn to my size, can the alloy be melted to my grade, will it be tested, and will the batch number survive the shipment.

Wire drawing

Thirteen dies from 5.5 mm rod to 0.025 mm wire, with the anneal sequence that keeps it ductile.

Melting and heat treatment

Parallel melts, controlled H₂/N₂ annealing, and the surface finish the drawing asks for.

Testing

What runs on every metre, what runs once per lot, and what appears on the document.

Packing and delivery

Spool sizes, marking, and export packing that keeps the batch number readable.

One site, from melt to spool

Melting, rolling, drawing, annealing, finishing, testing and packing are under one roof in Changzhou. Nothing between the furnace and the spool is subcontracted.

MeltingVacuum and atmosphere melting, parallel heats
Hot workingBillet reduced to wire rod on a continuous mill
Cold workingMulti-block drawing, carbide roughing and diamond finishing
AnnealingH₂/N₂ atmosphere, intermediate and final
FinishingBright, oxidised, pickled, or electro-polished
TestingIn-line laser diameter, eddy-current surface, per-lot EMF or resistance
PackingDIN spools, coils, custom reels, batch number on the flange

What this changes for the buyer

The practical difference between one plant and three subcontractors.

  • A question about a specific delivery is answered from our own batch record, not from a mill’s campaign sheet.
  • A change of diameter or temper does not require a new supplier qualification — it is a different drawing schedule on the same line.
  • Where a specification cannot be met, it is found at quotation because the same people set the tolerance and quote it.
