Packing and delivery
The shipment is where a batch number either survives or stops being useful.
Spools and coils
| Packing | Used for |
|---|---|
| DIN 125 | Small orders, fine wire |
| DIN 160 | Fine and medium wire |
| DIN 250 | Volume orders |
| DIN 355 | Heavy wire and long lengths |
| Coil | 5 / 10 / 20 kg, for cutting at the customer’s end |
| Custom reel | To the customer’s drawing |
Marking
- Batch number engraved on the flange — it is what retrieves the test record.
- Type and leg designation, for example KPX / KNX.
- Measured diameter and net weight, not nominal.
- Customer part number where the drawing provides one.
Export packing
| Inner | Spool in a moisture barrier, desiccant where the route warrants it |
| Outer | Carton or crate to the mode of transport |
| Documents | Packing list, certificate, and invoice in one set |
| Marks | Shipping marks to the customer’s instruction |
Tell us the mode of transport and the destination port on the enquiry. Packing for sea freight and packing for air are not the same crate.
